In Literacy we worked on the letter Bb, created pictures of a butterfly using paint, and drew pictures of the letter Bb. We wrote letter Bb, letter Bb words, and drew letter Bb pictures on the white boards. The

In
Mathematics we focused positional words, and directions. Math vocabulary included in, on, under, in front, behind, next to, between, left, right, up, and down. We also reviewed 3D shapes and counting to 100.
In Science we worked on the 5 senses, focusing on taste. When shown a picture students were asked if they like eating the food shown. We worked on sentences I like ____, and I do not like _____.
In Reading and
Writing we read a story called In the Desert. We looked at the pictures in the story, and talked about what we saw. We discussed desert animals, cities, and flowers.
As always thank you so much for helping your child with the homework sent home. Please continue practicing letter of the week vocabulary, letter of the week letter sound, and rhyming words (bat, cat, hat, mat, sat, fat, rat, vat, bat).
