Field Trip to the Al Ain Heritage Museum November 18, 2014

This week we went on a field trip the to Al Ain Heritage Museum. The students looked at ancient relics, and watched films depicting the past. 



































 

Week of November 9, 2014

This week the students focused on two letters Cc and Kk. The focus vocabulary of the week: 
Cc - cookie, camel, carrot, cat, cake, cucumbers,
Kk - khandoura, kitten, king, kite, key, kids, 

The students talked about long and short in math. We measured objects using camel counters, frogs, links, and connecting cubes. 

Here are the activities for the week.

Matching cards based on heritage for the theme My Country






Getting ready to create caterpillars for the letter Cc.

Sorted the frogs by color, and then counted out the groups.


 Playing in the heritage area.

The students really enjoyed this activity.
