Numeracy - We focused on patterns again. I had the students try and guess what types of patterns I was attempting to make. I would have them try and fix the pattern problem, and discuss the issues amongst each other without trying to help. The students made sticker patters, dot patterns, and shape patterns.
Science - We discussed properties of matter (solid, liquid, and gas). We sorted pictures cards as a class again. The students also were able to place baking soda in a dish, while we poured vinegar on it.The students loved watching the baking soda bubble, and continuously kept pouring the liquid over the powder.

Next week we are focusing on:
Literacy: letter Zz
Mathematics: Review
Science: States of Matter (solid, liquid, gas)
Theme:Staying Healthy

**Please bring in some healthy fruits and vegetables to share in class.
