Songs and Youtube Videos

I introduce a lot of new topics and concepts in class through the use of songs and videos. The students and I have a lot of fun singing these songs and following the movements.

Here are some of our favorite songs!

Week of December 1st 2013/ National Day Celebration

This week we review letters Mm, Ss, Ff, Tt, Nn, Aa, Pp, Cc, and Dd. We read the story "Coloured Bears", and mixed red, blue, and yellow together to make new colors. In Numeracy we reviewed capacity of containers based on size, and shape. We also reviewed counting to 100, counting forwards and backwards up to 20, and writing numbers. This week was really short due to National Day celebrations for the U.A.E. Congratulations on your 42nd year!

Here are some events that took place in class, as well as Al Rayaheen's National Day Celebration!
